Although Western Medical Science has made much progress to save the lives of mothers and children in the last hundred years, some having gone through childbirth feel that the sterility of the process has taken away something fundamental. Doctors and Nurses deal with many patients at once and do not have the ability to relate personally to a mother in a way that fully supports her. Giving birth in this last hundred years has mostly been an exercise in depersonalization of the most important and personal event in one’s life. In the last ten years, however, there has been a great revival to honor the sacredness of the birthing process. Throughout the last thirty years, Leas has been present at many births as Birthing Supporter and has performed miracles for many mothers and babies. She has literally brought mothers back to consciousness from being given too much medicine by western doctors and has saved the lives of babies in the process. Leas, because of her Chinese Medical training and abilities as a healer and Qigong Master, uses points from Acupuncture and Qi (bioforce) from her highly developed Qi mastery to harmonize regulation of the Qi of the birthing process. This is gentle and non-invasive as well as a unique contribution to the doula technologies of healing. The timing of the birth is very important to honor. Balancing Qi gently through the cycles has a profoundly good effect on the birthing cycle. After the baby (babies) are born, Qi balancing helps the mother to clear the placenta and restore balance to her blood. Leas can also communicate with the soul of the incoming baby or babies and prepares for each birth with the Heirarchy of Healing Beings who accompany her to the birthing event. She is aware of events which will occur before and during the birth process and prepares appropriate means of assisting each mother and child as she is instructed to do by the Heirarchy. Leas works in alliance with the hospital staff which makes the medical decisions for the birthing mother. She holds the ground in complete deference to the instincts of the mother during the birthing process. She is open to in home birthing and is willing to accompany midwives in the birthing process. The relationship of Birth Supporter and Mother and Father and incoming baby (babies) is a sacred journey for which much contact and relationship by the Birth Supporter is required. Leas develops a healing rapport with the mother and father as well as other children and extended family. She holds this as an ongoing sacred commitment. She has a reduced fee of $1300.00 for the birthing process and usually sees the mother and father several times before the actual birth.
